Chavez Spray Park

The Cesar Chavez Spray Park is open to the public free of charge. It offers a variety of colorful water equipment for city residents to enjoy. Designed to be enjoyed by younger kids that wish to stay cool and safe.

Adult Softball League (Ages18+)

The  Co-Ed Adult Summer League is a slow pitch, 10 game league, no limit roster event geared for those who wish to take part in a friendly but competitive environment. Games will be played at both Chavez and Jefferson Ballfields. First place team will be awarded 10 commemorative shirts.
Registration deadline: Friday, August 25th. 5pm | Team Fee: $350.00
League Starts: Tuesday, September 12th
Game Days & Times: Tuesday & Thursday| 6pm-8pm
Game Locations: Jefferson, 1103 6th Ave & Chavez, 404 10th Ave.

Adult Volleyball League (Ages 18+)

The Co-Ed Adult Volleyball League is a 10 game league, designed for those who wish to take part in a friendly but competitive environment. Games will be played at the Ellington Community Center.  First place team will be awarded 10 commemorative shirts. Register @ 925 Ellington street, Delano CA.
Registration deadline: Friday, September 8th. 5pm | Team Fee: $200.00

Pee-Wee Basketball (Ages 6-7)

The Pee Wee Basketball Program is a non-competitive league for children  ages 6 and 7. The league teaches children basketball fundamentals including dribbling, passing, shooting, and sportsmanship in a fun environment.

Cheer Camp (Ages 4-11)

Are you interested in learning some great cheer routines? If you are between
4 - 14 years old, sign up today and have fun learning the fundamentals of cheer-leading. This includes motion technique, jumping, and routines.

Looking for a fun way to relieve stress at the end of your work week?

Intro Yoga

Every Wednesday come join our beginner friendly Yoga class in our newly renovated studio room. Learn the basic movement and flows with the help of our friendly and patient instructor. Feel free to bring your own comforts such as mat, towel, and water bottle and assist blocks. If you don’t have any of that don’t worry we will provide mates for your convenience. Drop in today and experience your own practice.

Racquetball Court

Come play in our regulation indoor lighted racquetball court with hardwood floor. Balls are available at not cost. Reservation accepted 24 hours in advance of date requested.
Hours of Operation: Monday - Friday 5am - 9pm Sat 8am-5pm
Price: $2.00 per hour per person.

 Jefferson Park Tennis Courts

The Jefferson Park tennis Court rehab was recently completed this year. There are three tennis courts open for public use. The tennis court rehab was funded through Measure I. The rehab includes resurfaced and repainted courts, new tennis nets and new tennis windbreaks.
Location: 502 Jefferson Street.
Hours: 7 days a week from 8am to dusk.

Summer Cooling Centers

Open to the public from June 26 to August 31.  
Tech Center: Monday through Friday, 10am-2pm 140 West 11th Ave
Ellington Senior Center: Monday through Friday, 2- 6pm 925 Ellington Street.
