How to tell stories of change?
Telling effective and powerful stories of change can make or break the outcome of a change initiative.
What do we do to structure a story of organizational change?
1. Provide the context .... What is going on in the environment that results in change? Why is this happening?
What quantitative data or hard facts do we have that tell us why we need to change?
What qualitative data do we have that supports this? What are we hearing from our employees or customers?
What is the problem we need to address? What risks and challenges does this present to us?
What is the solution recommended to drive this change? What is needed to get there?
There can also be other change stories .....
